Hotel/Travel

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Radisson Hotel Chicago O’Hare for $79 a

night. Our group name is Thai Family Reunion. The hotel runs shuttles to/from O’Hare airport

every 30 minutes, so no need to rent a car! If you’ll need a refrigerator, please request one –

they are not automatically in the rooms.

Registration Form

This is the page detailing all the fees and will determine your total costs. There

is the regular family fee of $100, but this year there is also an option for Extended Family/

Prospective Parents. This additional option is for up to 2 adults to attend the reunion.

When deciding on the cost of your meal please take into account not only your child’s age

but how they eat. If an adult portion is more appropriate please pay the higher price. It will help

make sure there is enough food for everyone. If you have a smaller child that does not eat a lot,

and you feel they will eat a portion of your adult meal, then you may opt not to pay for an entire

child portion (either make a note of the child’s age and make an appropriate donation or pay for

only the adult meals). Each child will count as half an adult when finalizing the catering order for

the Thai lunch, and the fees will include drinks and other supplies needed for the picnic.

The Sunday breakfast meeting will be held at the hotel and all food is ordered through

their catering department. Prices are fixed.

The t-shirt design is the logo appearing on the PDF file. (Working on putting the logo on this page).  The shirt will be grey

with the design printed on the back. On the front, there will be small pocket printing (words only).

Thursday July 18
Check-In 7- 10pm – Welcome Reception with cookies and milk

Friday July 22

10:00am – Welcome and Cultural Presentation

Currently scheduled a Muay Thai demonstration – MORE TO COME

Noon-10pm – Conference room open for our use. Games and Thai crafts will be available.

Most of Friday is open for your enjoyment. Plan lunch with friends, swim, do some shopping.

2PM – Join us for an afternoon snack in the conference room

6PM – Chicago Style Pizza Dinner*

8PM – Lullaby Sing-Along with “Maci Miller”, one of our Mom attendees.

Get the kids in their PJ’s and join the before bed sing-along!

Saturday July 23

10AM – Dusk – Thai Picnic Lunch

at Lake OPEC

This is located less than a 1/2 mile from the hotel.

We have a pavilion reserved and there is a playground and a lot of open space for running around.

If you are able to, please bring some sports equipment (balls, bats Frisbees, etc.)

There are also some activities around the lake that are offered at a cost to visitors like paddle boats.

Sunday July 24

9AM – Breakfast meeting & Farewell
